    Job Duties and Responsibilities

     

    As a Senior Business Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading multiple teams that develop and manage the core applications used by customer-facing teams and internal caseworkers across multiple EchoStar brands, including DISH, Sling TV, OnTech, and Boost Mobile. You will oversee a diverse team of managers and analysts who specialize in different areas, ensuring all applications work together to provide a seamless and world-class customer experience.

     

    This is a senior-level position that requires a strong blend of technical understanding, strategic vision, and exceptional people leadership. The Application Development & Experience (ADX) team, is a group that is a part of the Customer Experience Operations (CXO) and is crucial to the organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead and mentor a team of managers who oversee the Flows, Knowledge, and Ticketing application teams, as well as a Senior Program Manager who focuses on data insights; heavily focused on people development, providing challenging assignments, holding frequent development discussions, and promoting growth across the entire team

    + Create, maintain, and communicate a compelling vision and strategic roadmap for the entire ADX team and its applications; ensure that team goals are clearly defined and align with the overarching objective of improving the agent and customer experience

    + Oversee the evaluation of existing workflows and content to identify opportunities for improvement within all applications; responsible for driving performance enhancements and ensuring that applications, data configurations, and ticketing processes are optimized for efficiency and agent usability

    + Build and maintain strong relationships with various internal stakeholders and IT partners; effectively communicate with all levels of organizational staff, translating complex technical and business concepts into clear, actionable insights

    + Work with the team to analyze application performance and create metrics that track how each app performs; must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to make sound decisions based on a mixture of analysis, wisdom, and judgment

     

    Skills, Experience and Requirements

    Education and Experience:

    + Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or at least 4 years of people leadership experience; equivalent combination of education and experience is also satisfactory

    Skills and Qualifications:

    + Experience influencing and driving strategic, cross-functional initiatives within a team environment

    + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment, and to comfortably cope with change, risk, and uncertainty

    + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and logic skills

    + Excellent presentation, organizational, interpersonal, and written/oral communication skills

    + Ability to learn quickly, multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure

    Salary Ranges

     

    Compensation: $110,110.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year

    The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.

     

    Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
