Required Education/Experience

+ Bachelor's Degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, or related field and 2 years of applicable experience, or

+ Associate's Degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, or related field and 4 years of applicable experience, or

+ High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of applicable experience.

Preferred Education/Experience

+ Bachelor's Degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, or related field and 2 years of applicable experience.

Relevant Work Experience

+ Experience developing communications for internal and/or external audiences (i.e., employees and/or customers) in a professional setting, required.

+ Demonstrates strong attention to detail and an eye for visual clarity. While not required to be a graphic designer, the ideal candidate should be able to structure and present information in a way that is clean, clear, concise, and visually engaging, required.

+ Must be extremely well-organized, and have the ability to juggle multiple projects, plan and manage deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively within a team, required.

+ Strong oral and written communication, presentation and interpersonal/collaboration skills, required.

+ Excellent customer service skills and a proven track record of working with internal and external customers, required.

+ Innovative, creative, curious mindset, willing to learn and champion new media and channels, required.

+ Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), required.

+ Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Express, In Design, etc.), preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

+ Driver's License Required

Physical Demands

+ Sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for the duration of the workday

+ Possess manual dexterity and the ability to use hands for the duration of the workday

Additional Physical Demands

+ The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
