Group/division summary
The Drug Product Division - North America (DPD-NA) is one of the five divisions that make up the Pharma Services Group. We are made up of approximately 4400 colleagues across six sites who specialize in taking sterile injectable and oral solid dose drug products from development to commercialization.
Key responsibilities:
+ Coordinate and align with activities related to pharmaceutical development projects, ensuring flawless execution of reception, storage, preparation, and shipment of pharmaceutical products/materials.
+ Assist Project Managers in all logistics related tasks to maintain strict adherence to good documentation and manufacturing practices.
+ Cooperate and coordinate the receipt and shipment of pharmaceutical products/materials, ensuring accurate documentation and timely confirmation of arrivals.
+ Process orders of pharmaceutical products/materials to customers and request receipt confirmations to successfully implement established requirements.
+ Help with inventory control, monitoring the entry and exit of inputs, and maintaining meticulous inventory records.
+ Perform return processes, coordinating with vendors and/or customers for the delivery and verification of pharmaceutical products/materials.
+ Provide information and assist Project Managers on shipment procedures, storage conditions, and handling of temperature sensors.
+ Report and document deviations and non-conformities in project coordination.
+ Assist in the analysis and control of internal supply stock for shipments to vendors and/or customers.
+ Communicates effectively and works to resolve any quality, safety or logistical issues
Education:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required with 1 year of logistics experience in the pharmaceutical industry, CROs, or similar logistics companies.
Qualifications and Experience:
+ Basic math skills
+ Knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Internet
+ Excels in a team environment.
+ Excellent verbal/written communication.
+ Ability to follow SOPs.
+ Able to perform successfully under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects or activities.
+ Ability to work with cross-functional teams comprised of diverse individuals.
+ Ability to manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights of 25-50 pounds; occasionally pushing and pulling 50-100+ pounds.
+ Ability to work independently
In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
