CTG is seeking to fill a Senior Business Analytics & Reporting Analyst opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.

**Location:** Buffalo, NY

**Duration:** 3 months

Overview:

The Senior Business Analytics & Reporting Analyst will develop reports, dashboards, and metrics to support multiple projects while providing insights and recommendations for process improvement. This role partners with cross-functional teams on high-visibility initiatives, drives automation, and ensures compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Create and enhance reports, dashboards, and data models to support strategy, workflow, and financial analysis.

+ Analyze data to identify trends, provide insights, and communicate recommendations to leadership.

+ Improve and automate processes, tools, and documentation to streamline departmental operations.

+ Lead departmental audits, compliance testing, and support for new systems, products, and regulatory changes.

+ Serve as the point of contact for departmental system support and vendor coordination.

Education & Experience Required:

+ Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years related experience, OR 7+ years combined education and work experience.

+ Proficiency with **Mainframe (required)** , **Cobol** , and **SQL** .

Preferred:

+ Advanced degree in Business, Finance, or Data Analytics.

+ Experience with dashboarding/visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).

+ Knowledge of financial services and regulatory compliance.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse teams are required.
