    What You Will Do

    As a Project Coordination Intern, you will be responsible for coordinating the quality, schedule and scope of Company projects by ensuring streamlined communication, product movement and process flow from concept design through implementation and closeout. The Project Coordinator must consistently maintain a bottom-up, broad perspective across all teams to ensure that all aspects of the work are covered and no efforts are duplicated.

     

    Walt Disney Imagineering Project Coordination Interns may work in support of a variety of projects, including (but not limited to) the development or redesign of themed entertainment experiences, support of the Play Disney App, or the production of digital media or visual arts projects.     This is a Full-Time role.

    What You Will Do-** **With Project Leadership Oversight and Mentorship

    • Work on a self-contained and defined project

    • Coordinate and integrate project information with internal and external

     

    organizations including project team, creative and design studios, operations,

    municipalities, vendors, and contractors

    • Assist with the development and documentation of scope lists, mock-ups, and

    deliverables matrices across all teams

    • With Project Lead, ensure integration of personnel, project schedules, and

    project disciplines

    • Assemble and verify information needed for the development of the Project

    Program Book

    • Compile, validate, and reconcile project documentation

    • Facilitate team discussions (brainstorming and strategy development sessions) to

    align the scope with the budget

    • Monitor the implementation of project strategies and risk mitigations

    • Coordinate Test & Adjust and Quality Assurance procedures for all productionbased teams

    • Oversee on-site arrival of materials needed to construct, produce, install, and

    commission attractions

    • Prepare and participate in presentations to executive management regarding

    project design and status using judgment and discretion to determine content

    • Conduct research in support of creative development including (but not limited

     

    to) historical content, artwork, imagery, architectural reference.

     

    • Help set priorities of the project team for meetings and communications

    • Coordinate Change Management information, define problems, and formalize

    recommendations for decision resolution

    • Have discretion to prioritize work deliverables and processes within agreed-upon

    plans

    • Be confident in making decisions on day-to-day planning of projects

    • Be the center of communication and collaboration for the Project Team

    • Connect with all Divisions of Work (DOW’s) within the project environment, with

     

    project partners, consultants, and vendors through conversation, presentation,

    and clear written correspondence

    • Connect with Studio Leaders and team Leads across divisions relative to status

     

    updates of schedule progress, required design inputs, and completion of design

    milestones, in support of visibility and efficiency

    • Facilitate relationships through interpersonal communication

    Required Qualifications & Skills

    • Ability to edit video clips within a presentation

    • An ability to be a highly organized self-starter

    • Ability to work through conflict and guide team members with problem-solving

    • Ability to give and take direction, adapt to change, establish relationships, and

    work in a team environment

    • Capacity to think strategically and tactically about complex issues and problem solve to resolution

    • Demonstrated leadership qualities, interpersonal skills, and collaboration ability

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Keynote, Photoshop, & Illustrator

    • Ability to present in front of large groups

    Education

    • Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher, from an accredited college/university

     

    earning a degree in in Business, Engineering, Theater, Production, Planning,

     

    Construction, Environmental Design, or other related technical or creative field

    Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

    • Be at least 18 years of age

    • Possess unrestricted work authorization

    • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or

     

    Disney College Program

    Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

    • Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines

    • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

    • The approximate dates of this internship are January 2026 through

    June 2026

    • Fully available from Monday - Friday, EST for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week

    • Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Glendale, CA area*

    • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work*

     

    The pay rate for this role in Glendale, CA is $26.50 per hour. Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
