    As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you’ll work on the cutting edge of cloud & AI technology as you scope and lead complex technical projects, laying the groundwork for early-stage products to iterate and scale.     Job Description

    Roles & Responsibilities

    + Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to solve business problems through full stack software solutions.

    + Design and develop high-quality software across the stack, including frontend interfaces, backend services, and distributed systems.

    + Work with architects and product managers to translate system architecture and product requirements into well-implemented software components.

    + Take ownership of individual software components with a focus on quality, maintainability, and test-driven development.

    + Participate in design and code reviews, offering constructive feedback and learning from peers.

    + Build, test, deploy, and maintain full stack solutions that improve performance, scalability, and security.

    + Apply software engineering best practices to ensure high standards across all deliverables.

    + Continuously learn and adopt new technologies and development practices.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

    + 6+ years of professional software development experience, including full stack development.

    + 3+ years of experience building scalable, distributed systems and cloud-native applications using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js, Java, Python) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

    + Experience contributing to system design and architecture discussions.

    + Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate effectively within a team.

    Desired Qualifications

    + 8+ years of experience including 2+ years working with big data systems, analytics platforms, containerized microservices, serverless functions, and event-driven architectures.

    + Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

    + Experience designing and implementing full stack systems using AWS technologies.

    + Experience working directly with end users or customers to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

    + Familiarity with testing automation, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimization across the stack.

    + Experience supporting production deployments and maintaining system reliability.

    + Understanding of deployment models including public cloud and hybrid infrastructure.

    + Ability to document and communicate software designs and development plans.

    + Experience working within Agile development processes.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.

     

    For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $138,000.00-$207,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
