    Overview

     

    Looking to gain hands-on experience in a regulated, high-impact environment? Brightstar Lottery is offering an exciting internship opportunity focused on physical security operations and compliance coordination. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to real projects, and build skills in auditing, document management, and ISO standards—all while supporting continuous improvement and security initiatives.

     

    What You’ll Do

    Security Operations

    + Conduct daily facility security checks (interior and exterior)

    + Support access control and surveillance system monitoring

    + Assist with security record audits and reporting

    + Learn emergency response procedures and vendor coordination

    + Participate in game play security testing audits for instant ticket products

    Compliance & Audit Support

    + Help manage controlled documents in SharePoint under team mentorship

    + Update databases in QT9, Excel, and other compliance tools

    + Assist with coordination of compliance training (Security and ISO policies)

    + Maintain audit-ready compliance records and quality tracking

    + Gain exposure to ISO audit procedures and non-conformance reporting

     

    What You Bring

    Education & Experience

    + Currently pursuing a degree in business, security, compliance, or a related field

    + High school diploma or equivalent required

    + Prior coursework or experience in auditing, compliance, or security is a plus

    Skills & Interests

    + Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    + Interest in physical security systems and compliance standards

    + Exposure to ISO regulations or audits is helpful but not required

    At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $19.00 - $23.00 per hour. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

     

    Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
