    Position Summary

    The Fiscal Support Coordinator will coordinate the preparation of financial reports, budget requests, and records. Ensure that financial transactions are processed and recorded accurately. Assist with the administration of accounts payable/receivable and other fiscal duties. Maintain financial records and files in compliance with regulations. Serve as a point of contact for fiscal-related questions and issues. Assist in audits and ensure compliance with financial standards.

     

    This position requires on-site employment with no remote or hybrid options available.

     

    Education and Professional Work Experience

    Minimum Qualifications

    A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience, preferred. One to three years of experience in fiscal support or related field.

     

    Preferred Qualification

     

    Knowledge of computers and computer software such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word). Experience with AASIS Software or SAP-based software preferred. Experience in general Accounts Payable preferred.

    + Strong organizational and time management skills.

    + Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.

    + Ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

    + Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

     

    Job Responsibilities and Expected Results

     

    + Receive and review program and central office invoices, travel reimbursement forms and related documents.

    + Receive and park accounts receivable checks in AASIS.

    + Enter expenditure transactions into AASIS payment system, accurately coding for general ledger,

    + cost center and internal order information.

    + Verify accuracy of payment documents to comply with Federal and State audit requirements.

    + Interface with agency personnel to clarify questions regarding operational and travel payment documents.

    + Process operational or travel refunds to expenditure and payment cancellations in a timely manner.

    + Receive and review WEX and Bank of America invoices. Ensure accurate coding and that receipts have been received.

    + Research operational and travel expenditure discrepancies and questions by utilizing the AASIS system.

    + Organizes and maintains electronic and manual routing reports of payment documents for proper approvals and processing.

    + Responsible for client services expenditures and P-Card and Travel Card review.
