About this Role

The Communications Co\-op will support employee\-facing corporate communications activities\. Reporting to our Communications Strategist, this role is part of Textron Systems' Marketing & Communications team\.

As a Communications Co\-op, you'll play a key role in helping communicate key projects and strategies to employee audiences across multiple channels\. The team's work is critical to ensuring that employees are aligned across our sites and business lines to support our customers\.

Candidates should be detail\-oriented and highly motivated, with the ability to think strategically, adapt quickly and work well with teams and stakeholders across the business\. Superior writing and proofreading skills, written and verbal communication skills, as well as analytical abilities, are essential\.

Job Responsibilities \(including but not limited to\)

Broadly support internal communications across the Textron Systems segmentServe as employee communications point of contact for internal stakeholder teams as assignedDeliver high\-impact, innovative communications, partnering with cross\-functional team members in a coordinated approach while always ensuring consistency of messagingSupport the planning and rollout of campaign messaging efforts across channelsManage employee communications channels including intranet, newsletters and digital signageWork across the Strategic Communications & Creative group to develop materials that advance key objectives and translate project concepts into easy\-to\-understand graphs, charts & other visualsSupport achievement and reporting of corporate and team key performance indicatorsActively contribute to other projects or special programs and support cross\-functional initiatives as assigned

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as Communications, Journalism, Mass Media, Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related fieldExemplary writing, editing and presentation skillsExperience with employee communications, social media and/or content developmentStrong detail orientation, project planning and execution skillsAction\-oriented self\-starterAbility to engage with colleagues across the business, from our shop floors to our executive team, with confidence and competenceResourceful problem solverProficient in Microsoft OfficeProficient in CanvaVideo editing experience is preferredThis position requires an individual to be a U\.S citizen **_Why Fall Co\-Op with Textron Systems?_**

Textron’s compensation package includes competitive base pay and provides eligible employees with benefit programs\. The pay range should be used as a general guide only\. Compensation is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations\.

In compliance with the local pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is

$22 \- $25 per hour\.
