Job Overview
Express Employment Professionals is actively seeking a skilled Die Setter to join the team of a local company.
The typical work hours for this position are from 5:00 am to 1:20 pm, with the possibility of overtime until 3:20 pm and occasional Saturdays. The starting wage for this role is $23.55 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Conduct machine set-up
+ Utilize a forklift to move and position dies in presses, making necessary manual adjustments with die bars, hands, and hand tools
+ Set materials in stands using a forklift and remove banding from materials
+ Operate presses and maintain adequate lubrication levels
+ Dump scrap into the hopper
+ Inspect materials for defects or issues, utilizing various measurement and inspection tools such as micrometers, rulers, verniers, gauges, and plugs
+ Run sample parts for Quality Team Inspections
+ Complete required paperwork accurately
+ Maintain a clean and safe work area
+ Assist colleagues with set-ups as needed
