    **PDS Tech Commercial** is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated **Service and Repair Technician** to support the configuration and deployment of handheld mobility devices in a dynamic lab environment. This is a hands-on opportunity for individuals with technical skills and a passion for process improvement and customer satisfaction.

    About the Role

    As a **Service and Repair Technician** , you will be responsible for configuring and deploying handheld devices, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and cross-departmental collaboration. You’ll work in a fast-paced lab environment where precision, urgency, and teamwork are key.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Configure and deploy handheld mobility devices for customer use.

    + Support the HEM Configuration and Depot process.

    + Participate in lab-based continuous improvement efforts focused on reducing variation, cycle time, and cost.

    + Be available for rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed.

    + Collaborate across departments and assist other teams as required.

    + Maintain a high level of attention to detail and urgency in all tasks.

    Required Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience configuring and repairing mobility devices or related equipment.

    + Strong mechanical and technical skills.

    + Knowledge of assistive technology and mobility device standards.

    + Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.

    + Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

    This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).     **Pay Details:** $18.50 per hour
