    Where is the work:

    This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.

    What you will do:

    This position is located in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and requires full-time hours over the summer. Work under the direction of an Acoustic engineer to perform assigned tests and analysis. Measurements will be performed in our Acoustic Lab which includes an anechoic chamber and multiple reverberation chambers. Additional acoustical measurements may be taken in other parts of our facility.

     

    + Write test procedures based on acoustic standards as directed by the Acoustic engineer.

    + Work with technicians to acquire acoustic data.

    + Present results to cross functional teams.

    + Analyze the data using a variety of software.

    + Collaborate with others to foster effective teamwork by linking own responsibilities to the team’s goals.

    + Write up test results in the form of change requests to be acted upon by software developers.

    What you will bring:

    + Currently enrolled and pursuing a BS degree in Acoustic Engineering or related discipline with a focus in Acoustics.

    + Familiarity/experience with sound measurement equipment and software preferred.

    + Ability to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
