The Role
As a Strategic Transformation Coach within the Lumen Transformation Office, you will drive strategic execution and cultural transformation across high-impact growth initiatives. Reporting into the Transformation Leadership Team, this role blends coaching, consulting, and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate performance and accountability for “Bend the Curve” – a strategic initiative focused on accelerating growth and operational excellence across Lumen’s core services.
In this highly consultative and hands-on strategic coaching position, you will serve as a trusted advisor and change agent to leaders of key growth transformation workstreams driving accountability, supporting execution and results.
You will work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment – partnering with teams across product, sales, marketing, operations, and finance – to instill a growth mindset, embed a culture of high performance and accountability, and ensure initiatives stay on track toward their goals.
Acting as a change champion, this role also collaborates with senior stakeholders to define and prioritize key initiatives, communicate findings and recommendations effectively. This role offers exposure to senior leadership, strategic initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration—ideal for professionals eager to expand their influence and impact.

This is a remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S.
The Main Responsibilities
Strategic Coaching & Execution
+ Provide coaching and consultative support to initiative leaders to improve execution, ownership, and accountability mindset with focus on delivering growth transformation results.
+ Champion a culture of accountability and ownership. Set clear expectations with initiative owners and regularly review outcomes and KPIs, ensuring individuals take responsibility for results.
+ Align stakeholders across functions (e.g. Product, Sales, Marketing, Operations, IT, Finance) encouraging collaboration and clear communication so that everyone works toward common growth transformation goals.
Execution & Impact
+ Track initiative progress and ensure targets are met. Hold teams accountable for their commitments, reinforcing execution rigor and timely delivery of milestones.
+ Proactively identify risks, roadblocks, or delays in initiatives. Facilitate problem-solving with teams to remove obstacles and escalate issues when necessary to keep projects on track.
+ Apply go-to-market expertise to guide initiatives (especially those impacting revenue or customers). Ensure consultative support considers market impact, customer experience, and commercial viability of execution plans.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree or equivalent preferred.
+ 8-10+ years of relevant experience leading strategic execution, coaching, or transformation, or 5+ years with MBA or equivalent.
+ Demonstrated success in driving strategic initiatives and optimizing operational processes to meet financial and performance goals supporting GTM functions in sales, marketing or customer experience or other revenue-generating teams.
+ Proven ability to lead through complex business challenges with a bias for action and creative problem-solving.
+ Comfortable in dynamic, fast-paced environments with proven ability to resolve rapidly developing challenges and adapt quickly.
+ Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
+ Skilled at building credibility with executives and stakeholders through strategic insight and clear communication.
Preferred:
+ Experience developing strategic business cases, including modeling and sensitivity analysis.
+ Ability to structure thoughtful solutions in ambiguous situations.
+ Tenacity and resilience in solving difficult problems.
+ Working knowledge of the telecommunications landscape and operating principles, or comparable industry dynamics relevant to transformation initiatives.
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges
$129,639 - $172,852 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY
$136,121 - $181,494 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI
$142,603 - $190,137 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
