Program Overview
+ Full-Time, Salaried Role
+ 12–18 Month Training Program
+ Location: **Shakopee, MN (Business Unit Corporate HQ) or Boulder, CO**
+ Quarterly company trips to visit the 4 sales areas
You’ll gain hands-on experience in:
+ Emerson products and industrial applications
+ Sales techniques and customer engagement
+ Inside Sales collaboration and field sales preparation
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
During Training:
+ Learn product applications and complete training courses
+ Support regional sales and develop customer relationships
+ Participate in trade shows and professional societies
+ Perform inside sales duties and assist with project planning
+ Exposure to sales tools used regionally
+ Build communication and presentation skills
After Training:
+ Company provided vehicle

+ Conduct territory planning and win major projects

For This Role, You Will Need:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
+ Zero (0) years of related experience
+ Valid Driver's License
+ Ability to travel up to 10%
+ Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
+ Degree in Industrial Distribution or Industrial Technology
+ Strong time management, communication, and presentation skills
+ Familiarity with instrumentation (temperature, level, flow, pressure)

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The starting salary for this role is $70,000- 74,000, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
