    Job Description

     

    This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, user experience, and scalable engineering. You’ll collaborate closely with marketers, product managers, designers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to shape the future of how we understand and optimize user behavior.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance solutions leveraging Quantum Metric and related analytics tools.

    + Serve as the technical authority in digital experience and customer behavior analytics and hands-on contributor for a team of engineers.

    + Partner with product and UX teams to define and prioritize session replay and behavior analytics features that drive measurable business outcomes.

    + Design and deploy efficient client-side tracking solutions for web and mobile platforms that minimizes performance impact, reduces execution time, and scales seamlessly across devices and environments.

    + Ensure tracking solutions are privacy-conscious and compliant with the latest data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), avoiding inadvertent capture of Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

    + Lead 3-4 contractor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.

    + Stay current with industry trends in digital experience analytics, performance monitoring, and customer journey optimization.

    + Provide thought leadership on digital data collection, aligning strategies with business goals and enterprise technology frameworks.

    Basic Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience

    + 5+ years of software engineering experience

    Preferred Skills/Experience

    + 2+ years’ technology leadership experience

    + Strong experience with **Quantum Metric** (FullStory, Contentsquare, or similar digital experience analytics platforms will be considered)

    + Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or other clickstream data collection tools.

    + Knowledge of HTML/CSS and proficiency in modern web technologies ( **JavaScript** /TypeScript, React, Node.js).

    + Deep understanding of event instrumentation, session replay, and behavioral analytics.

    + Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.

    + Understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.

    + Strong communication skills and a proven ability to influence across functions and levels.

    Location Expectation

     

    The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

    The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $132,260.00 - $155,600.00
