Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a RN Director Behavioral Health for our team to be an innovator. HCA Healthcare partners with Harvard Pilgrim Institute and the CDC to use our data from more than 26 million patient encounters each year to impact the industry. Come build your career with us!

+ You will maintain 24-hour accountability for clinical, operational, and nursing management oversight for Behavioral Services

+ You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating all phases of nursing care provided on the program

+ You will determine staffing requirements and material resources necessary to provide care to the patients on the program

+ You will provide supervision of, assesses and evaluates the competence and performance of the nursing personnel, maintain regulatory compliance at all times, and participate in the recruitment and community education process

What Qualifications you will need:

+ Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)

+ Associate's Degree from an accredited School of Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred

+ Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

+ CPI required within 3 months of hire/transfer

+ Minimum 3 years clinical Behavioral Health nursing experience in an acute care setting

+ Minimum of 2 years management experience as a Nursing Manager or Nursing Director in Behavioral Health
