The Innovation Danaher Business System Leader Director (iDBSL Director) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for driving application of Danaher Business System (DBS) in the innovation processes and increasing DBS maturity across the systems and software development teams. This position is part of the Global Technology Organization and will be on-site located in either Chaska, MN or Miami, FL. You will be a part of the Global Technology Organization leadership team and report to the SVP CTO.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Implement the Danaher Innovation Playbook and develop the DBS Road Map to assess organizational capabilities and drive maturity.

+ Implement and sustain Danaher Innovation processes and tools, including Strategic Innovation Review and Product Planning Group.

+ Actively lead VPM installation, Kaizens, PSPs, and Daily Management reviews, ensuring successful end-to-end management (planning, execution, sustainment) of kaizen events.

+ Promote and facilitate diagnosis of workflow impediments and wastes, providing expert counsel on appropriate DBS tools.

+ Provide and facilitate formal and informal DBS training and coaching.

+ Lead, mentor, and develop a team of direct report Danaher Business System Leaders (DBSLs), fostering their growth, expertise in DBS methodologies, and achievement of certification milestones.

+ Promote broader associate development in DBS tools and kaizen leadership, including pursuing and approving certifications.

The essential requirements of the job include

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science or Engineering and 14+ years of experience in Product Development OR a master’s degree preferred and 12+ years of Product Development experience.

+ Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a “general manager’s” point of view.

+ Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement Innovation DBS roadmap for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics.

+ Mastery of a variety of Innovation and Fundamental DBS tools.

+ Superior communication, training, consulting and influencing skills.

+ Ability and willingness to travel 25% - 50%, domestically and internationally.

+ Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ Medical device product development

+ Regulated Quality Management System – e.g. FDA CFR 820, EU ISO-13485

The annual salary range for this role is $160,000 - $215,000 USD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
