Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Warehouse Systems - Monroe is seeking applicants for Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician will safely provide support to the Monroe team by:

+ Being a leader in safety.

+ Ensuring spare parts are identified and available.

+ Grow the Preventive/Predictive Maintenance program.

+ Serves as a technical expert for Maintenance Technicians and Operations.

+ Proactively identify work to be performed in order to minimize downtime.

+ Proactively identify opportunities to improve equipment performance.

+ Prepare jobs to be performed during schedule and unscheduled down time.

+ Works hands on with the team to execute jobs.

+ Ensure work is executed with a high level of quality and workmanship.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Two-year technical degree and/or a minimum of 5 year's experience in industrial maintenance.

+ Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including scheduled and unscheduled overtime, rotating shifts, and off shifts.

+ Must be able to develop LOTO procedures, train the team on our LOTO policy and practice.

+ Must be able to demonstrate proper communication skills with all departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Mechanical and Electrical maintenance experience.

+ Excellent knowledge of LOTOTO .

+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

+ Able to read and understand Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic drawings.
