    The Technology Solution Implementation Professional 2 delivers new technological solutions to meet business needs within a specified scope while aligned to enterprise objectives. The Technology Solution Implementation Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

     

    The Technology Solution Implementation Professional 2 gathers and documents business system and functional requirements, influences system design to optimize support and ensures solutions meet the business objectives and requirements. Completes and/or coordinates implementation of design and requirements, testing, operational readiness, and transition to the appropriate production support team. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

     

    + Liaison between business and IT development team for all system inquiries from business, feature clarifications, issue resolutions, and any other questions from IT

    + System issue resolution including root cause analysis of issues reported by business, gaining a full understanding business needs/impacts, and being able to clearly communicate all issues to IT in order to resolve matters effectively/efficiently

    + Feature writing which includes active engagement in business discussions around new enhancements/processes to understand business needs, writing IT features, gaining business approvals, grooming with IT, and updating tracking as development occurs

    + Lead cross-functional testing groups through the process of developing test strategies, executing test cases, and gaining sign off at each stage of a release

    + Managing test plans and cases, tracking defects through to resolution, and ensuring full test team is engaged in testing efforts

    + Subject matter expertise in the way systems operate, underlying data processing steps and tables, backend system tools, and manual system processes

    In addition to the stated requirements, the selected candidate will also possess the following competencies:

    + Aptitude for learning new tools, techniques, concepts, and technologies

    + Ability to work independently or as part of a team

    Required Qualifications

    + 1-2 years' experience feature writing, creating test strategies and leading testing initiatives

    + Prior experience working with Business partners to develop solutions to moderate to complex problems

    + Prior experience with coordination and implementation of design and requirements for transition to the appropriate production support team

    + Knowledge of the product development life cycle and proven ability to adhere to project deadlines

    + ​Knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications primarily Excel and SQL

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology or related field

    + Master's Degree of Business Administration

    + Familiarity with QTest

    + ​Knowledge of the Agile methodology (SAFe)

     

    Additional Information

     

    This role is "remote/work at home" and can be based anywhere in the United States, however, you must be willing and able to work EST hours.

     

    Work at Home Information

    To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:

    + At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.

    + Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.

    + Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

    + Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

    + Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

     

    Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

    Pay Range

    The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

    $60,800 - $82,900 per year

    This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
