    Education Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + A minimum of one-year post-secondary education in a science or medical related field.

    In this role, you will work in the Pathology office within the Laboratory Department performing a variety of administrative tasks including, but not limited to:

    + Accessioning patient reports for additions and corrections to patient information.

    + Preparation of conference cases for pathologists.

    + Handling and tracking incoming and outgoing non-hazardous patient material within the laboratory information system.

    + Receiving and distributing packages and mail throughout the laboratory.

    + Sending and responding to fax requests.

    + Assisting providers and customers over the phone.

    + Filing and organization of non-hazardous patient materials.

    + Managing the scheduling of pathologists.

    + Promote patient standards of accreditation agencies and state licensure requirements.

    + Follows Essentia Health rules and policies to ensure safety and quality.

    Experience Requirements:

    + Basic computer skills

    + Communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Knowledge of medical terminology

    + Knowledge of Microsoft applications

    + Experience in Epic

    + Strong communication skills

    Shift Rotation:

    Days M-F, No weekends, No holidays, No call

    Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

    + None required
