    Forklift Operator (Morning Shift)

    Job Description

    As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory integrity through accurate data entry and efficient handling of materials. You will utilize SAP RF scanners to pick and scan items, ensure compliance with safety standards, and support other warehouse operations.

    Responsibilities

    + Complete daily safety precheck of assigned equipment prior to use.

    + Receive and put away raw materials and finished goods.

    + Enter all information accurately into the SAP RF scanner.

    + Utilize SAP RF scanners to accurately scan and pick each item on an order.

    + Pick each order line by line as displayed in the system.

    + Organize and stack items efficiently for ease of shipping and packaging.

    + Meet or exceed productivity targets per day while maintaining safety and quality.

    + Properly pick orders in accordance with picking procedures and ensure compliance.

    + Load and unload containers and trucks.

    + Assist with cycle counts.

    + Support other warehouse and production operations when order volume is low.

    + Load and assure the correct loading of metal onto uncoiled and feed material into machines.

    + Follow safety requirements and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

    + Participate in process improvements, housekeeping, and 5S within assigned areas.

    + Order picking and packing proficiency

    + Loading and pallet jack usage

    + Shipping and receiving experience

    + Warehouse inventory management

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Less than high school education; or one to three months of related experience or training.

    + Forklift License may be required.

    Work Environment

     

    This role operates in an industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to varying temperatures, loud noise levels, dust, fumes, oil, or other outdoor elements. Regular standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods are required, as well as the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Sacramento, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
