    Job Title: Warehouse Operator

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Operator where you will play a vital role in our warehouse operations, including packing, shipping, and receiving. You will start in the packing department, gaining experience with banding, operating overhead cranes, and using sit-down forklifts to move materials. As you progress, you will receive training in shipping and receiving, handling both raw and finished orders, and using an RF Scan Gun to document material movement. You will also work in the skid building department, crafting custom wood skids.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate bander and overhead crane for material handling.

    + Use sit-down forklifts to transport materials.

    + Document material movement using an RF Scan Gun.

    + Participate in shipping and receiving processes.

    + Pick and pack both raw and finished orders.

    + Build custom wood skids in the skid building department.

    Essential Skills

    + 2 years experience operating an overhead crane.

    + 2 years experience operating a sit-down forklift.

    + 2 years experience using an RF Scan Gun.

    + Ability to read a tape measure to the 16th of an inch.

    + Ability to consistently lift 40 lbs.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with hand and power tools.

    Work Environment

     

    The workplace is a large metal and steel distribution center that is not climate controlled. You will be on your feet all day, moving products. The job offers two shifts: 1st shift from 6am to 4:30pm with potential overtime on Saturdays, and 2nd shift from 4pm to 2:30am with possible 12-hour shifts during the week.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
