Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker, where you will play a crucial role on the production floor, assisting in the creation of high-quality wire and sheet metal products. This position involves performing deburring, bending, forming, and welding operations.

Responsibilities

+ Assist in the production of quality wire and sheet metal products.

+ Perform deburring, bending, forming, and welding operations.

+ Operate machinery and perform general production tasks.

+ Conduct visual inspections to ensure product quality.

+ Pack finished products for shipping.

+ Engage in powder coating processes.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production, assembly, and general manufacturing tasks.

+ Ability to work flexible and extended hours as needed.

+ Capability to lift up to 25 lbs.

+ Proficiency in machine operation and visual inspection.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma required.

+ Entry-level position suitable for candidates starting their manufacturing careers.

Work Environment

The position is for the first shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm in a manufacturing environment. The facility is well-ventilated, with temperature variations depending on the season. It is a dusty environment due to metal dust and filings, necessitating the use of dust masks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mystic, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.25/hr.
