Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electronics and manufacturing equipment, including PLC controllers, ovens, and conveyors. This role involves installing, inspecting, and enhancing equipment efficiency while adhering to safety, quality, and operational efficiency requirements.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct electrical maintenance of equipment including felt lines, molding equipment, presses, robotics (ABB Robots), and water jets.
+ Troubleshoot 480V electrical systems and understand troubleshooting through electrical panels/cabinets.
+ Maintain and repair hydraulics and pneumatics systems (presses).
+ Set up and install new equipment for facility upgrades.
+ Troubleshoot and maintain motors, sensors, photo eyes, switches, and proxy switches.
+ Maintain and troubleshoot junction boxes and terminal switches.
+ Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace wires as needed.
+ Responsible for facilities maintenance, including lighting.
+ Document maintenance activities and preventive maintenance schedules in CMMS systems (ShireSystem).
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
+ Experience in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting 480V electrical systems.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Possession of own toolbox and tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in Siemens PLC troubleshooting.
+ Welding and fabrication experience.
+ Ability to use manual mill and/or lathe.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
