    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    As a General Production Worker, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by operating machinery, ensuring quality control, and maintaining production efficiency. Your attention to detail and mechanical aptitude will be vital in producing high-quality sheet metal parts.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare and operate basic machinery to manufacture sheet metal parts according to specifications.

    + Inspect parts during and after production to ensure they meet quality standards.

    + Interpret and work from basic blueprints to ensure accurate production.

    + Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.

    + Track and manage materials and supplies needed for production.

    + Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

    + Maintain accurate records of production activities and machinery maintenance.

    Essential Skills

    + Machine operating or assembly experience.

    + Experience in a manufacturing setting.

    + Mechanical ability.

    + Ability to use basic blueprints.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 1-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

    Work Environment

     

    Work a consistent schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in a fast-paced manufacturing facility equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. Primarily work independently in the fabrication department, with occasional collaboration with others. Be prepared to stand or sit for 8-hour shifts, performing repetitive tasks at the same machine.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, New Jersey.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
