Traveling Commercial Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a Traveling Construction Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities for commercial projects nationwide. This role requires active engagement in hands-on carpentry work and effective coordination of subcontractors, labor, and materials.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee on-site construction activities while actively engaging in hands-on carpentry work.

+ Coordinate and manage subcontractors, labor, and materials on the construction site.

+ Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to project plans.

+ Perform basic carpentry tasks as needed, including framing, installation/repairs, miscellaneous metal work, finishing, and repairs.

+ Collaborate with the project manager to ensure project goals are achieved within the specified timeline.

+ Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members.

+ Implement and enforce safety protocols on the construction site, actively participating in safety initiatives.

+ Provide on-site leadership, guidance, and support to the construction team.

+ Excellent communication and leadership skills.

+ Basic understanding of project management principles.

+ Relevant certifications in carpentry or construction supervision are a plus.

Work Environment

This position requires 100% travel to various construction sites nationwide. The role offers a great travel package, company allowance/vehicle, and a bonus after a year. Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Aberdeen, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
