LMR Product Manager
+ Conduct in-depth market research and customer analysis to understand evolving communication needs, challenges, and purchasing behaviors of public safety agencies (law enforcement, fire, EMS, utilities, emergency management).
+ Identify and analyze LMR/public safety communications sectors for demand signals, including digital radio technologies, interoperability, and integrated LMR/LTE solutions.
+ Analyze competitive landscape to identify opportunities for differentiation and market share growth.
+ Gather insights from public safety professionals, industry associations (e.g., APCO), and regulatory bodies to inform strategy and ensure compliance (e.g., Project 25).
Product Strategy & Development Leadership
+ Serve as a principal member of the Product Development Committee, shaping roadmap and strategy.
+ Define and execute product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for LMR/public safety communication solutions.
+ Develop product positioning and value propositions emphasizing reliability, security, and mission-critical performance.
+ Manage full product lifecycle, from definition through ongoing optimization.
Go-to-Market & Sales Enablement
+ Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop and execute go-to-market strategies tailored to LMR/public safety buying cycles.
+ Create and implement pricing strategies that maximize revenue and align with procurement processes.
+ Develop impactful sales collateral, case studies, and training materials.
+ Provide in-depth training and act as a product expert for the Sales team.
+ Monitor performance, sales results, and customer feedback; adjust strategies as needed.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Execution
+ Drive alignment across Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations for seamless product launches and sustainment.
+ Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to internal stakeholders and clients.
Knowledge & Skills
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
+ Project management experience.
+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
+ Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
+ Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
+ Effective under pressure and deadlines.
+ Independent yet team-oriented.
+ Strong time management skills.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related technical field (MBA preferred).
+ 3+ years of experience in product management or product marketing within the LMR and/or public safety communications industry.
+ Proven ability to conduct market/competitive analysis and translate insights into product and business outcomes.
+ Deep understanding of LMR technology, including digital radio standards (Project 25), system architecture, and interoperability challenges.
+ Experience supporting mission-critical communications for public safety.
+ Data-driven decision-making experience (e.g., Splunk).
+ Excellent communication/presentation skills for diverse audiences.
+ Agile methodology exposure is a plus.
**Pay Details:** $120,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
