Civil Design Engineer (Transit & Infrastructure | NYC Hybrid)

We’re hiring experienced Civil Design Engineers and Project Managers to support a major transit initiative, with opportunities to contribute to aviation, highway, and rail projects. This is a hybrid role based in NYC, offering exposure to high-impact work and career growth in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for delivering conceptual, permitting, and final design packages for transit projects, while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. You’ll also support technical studies, specifications, and cost estimates across various phases of design.

Key Responsibilities

+ Develop conceptual, permitting, and final design for NYC transit projects

+ Provide engineering design services aligned with codes and standards

+ Prepare technical studies, reports, specifications, and cost estimates

+ Support design efforts on aviation, transportation, and roadway projects

+ Review and contribute to constructability assessments and coordination

Qualifications

+ 6+ years of civil engineering experience in transportation, rail, or MTA projects

+ Proficiency in Civil 3D and Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads

+ Strong understanding of roadway design and transportation systems

+ Experience with DOT and MTA project workflows

+ EIT certification preferred

+ Additional experience in land/site development, grading, drainage, and highway design

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
