Provider Recruiter opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!!
Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates to fill a Provider Recruiter position. The Provider Recruiter will be responsible for leading the recruitment of Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, and other clinical leaders. Partners with Administration and the Human Resources Committee to develop recruitment strategies aligned with organizational needs and clinical service priorities. Maintains a clear understanding of provider staffing demands and responds proactively to secure top clinical talent.
Manages the full provider recruitment process, including sourcing, networking, outreach, screening, interview coordination, and candidate relationship management. Develops and implements targeted recruitment strategies, oversees candidate engagement throughout the hiring process, and ensures a smooth handoff to the internal Human Resources team for onboarding and relocation coordination.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, department chairs, and clinical leadership to support both immediate hiring goals and long-term provider workforce planning. Represents the organization with professionalism, ensuring a positive candidate experience and reinforcing the institution’s reputation as an employer of choice for providers.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, public relations, business, nursing, or another healthcare-related field, or equivalent experience in recruiting required
Licensures, Certifications, Registrations:
+ None Required
Experience:
+ Two years previous provider recruitment experience preferred
Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
+ Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing; negotiation skills; flexibility in varying situations; ability to independently with a minimum of supervision; ability to organize and prioritize duties; ability to work well with other marketing, administrative, and medical staff; willingness to telephone and meet with individuals in the early morning and evenings as needed to enhance recruitment efforts; willingness to travel as required to visit physicians
+ Must have knowledge of the medical community and be familiar with marketing/public relations techniques, especially sales. Must also be familiar with the hospital/group practice and the many services it provides
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
