Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist Job Description
As part of the Operations Team, you will help prepare the manufacturing team to scale by solidifying processes and systems. You will work cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, and Sales, supporting inventory, purchasing, and vendor management.
Responsibilities
+ Manage purchasing and inventory across 250–300 custom SKUs.
+ Handle 20–30 purchase orders per month ranging from basic supplies to complex, long-lead-time components.
+ Execute change orders, inventory disposition tasks, and vendor/supplier interactions.
+ Support domestic and international shipments.
+ Perform cycle counting and inventory accuracy checks.
+ Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers, including some negotiating.
+ Maintain an orderly warehouse including receiving, storing, picking, and packing of inventory and products.
Essential Skills
+ Purchasing and buying experience.
+ Planning and scheduling expertise.
+ Experience in medical device manufacturing, typically within a start-up to mid-sized company.
+ Planner background with experience in carrying out planning functions and developing tools to improve current systems.
+ Familiarity with Fishbowl ERP (3+ years preferred).
+ Experience with international suppliers and negotiations.
+ Comfortable working cross-functionally.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain.
+ 5 years of experience in the supply chain function, preferably in complex medical devices.
+ Exposure to MRI environment materials is a major plus.
+ Manufacturing experience.
+ Experience with domestic and international shipments.
Work Environment
This role is fully onsite with flexible hours, from 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will be the sole supply chain expert at the site, reporting to the VP of Operations. The work environment includes the use of materials such as plastics (injection molding, extrusion), adhesives, electronics (circuit boards, cables, wire harnesses), and stamped parts. A small inventory management tool is a huge plus, along with the use of Arena for quality systems and HubSpot for CRM and marketing. You will be part of a tight-knit team that works hard and has fun, contributing to cutting-edge technology that transforms cardiac care. The company is launching in the US next year and currently has a strong presence in Europe, with rapid growth from 50 to 80 employees within the last year.

This is a Contract position based out of Burnsville, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $48.07/hr.
