    The pay range is $92,000.00 - $166,000.00

    A role in **Construction** means leading the execution of the new store, remodel, properties, store operations and merchant innovation projects. From large program rollouts to unique special projects, new small-format stores and large-format ground-up construction, you’ll support the teams that manage the scope, schedule and budget for all Target construction projects, including adhering to the project timeline, coordinating and overseeing the onsite construction process and turnover. You’ll keep all of the players and partners aligned with effective communication between suppliers, contractors, field and properties leadership and project teams.

     

    As a **Senior Construction Project Manager** , you’ll take the lead as you develop and manage scopes, budgets, and schedules; as well as direct, supervise, and control the construction, fixture installation, and architecture and engineering design milestones for assigned projects or programs to meet established goals and objectives. Using your skills and experience, you will assist with all aspects of the process. By reviewing and analyzing contractor bids, you will make recommendations and approve subcontractor bids, conduct contract negotiations, review and approve changes to the contract and applications for payments, and close out all necessary contracts. You’ll conduct cross-functional meetings throughout the lifecycle of a project to monitor the activities and budgets of other departments that affect the project as well as ensuring that project milestones are being met. You will be responsible for project completion within approved budget which includes obtaining, reviewing, and maintaining the budget input from other documents. You will maintain an accurate budget forecast throughout the project lifecycle. In this role, your key focus will be in ensuring successful project execution while maintaining Target’s quality standards.     About you:

    + Four-year degree: degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture preferred

    + 7+ years of experience in construction project management

    + Advanced knowledge of construction fixturing processes, industry standards and best practices

    + Ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects and programmatic collateral duties with a key focus on supplier management, fixture specifications, fixture innovation, sourcing, budgeting, and scheduling management

    + Strong communicator with ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts

    + Highly self-motivated and committed to the development of high-quality work and productivity with strong organizational skills

    + 25% project travel

     

    This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
