Patient Access Representative

Primary Schedule: Monday- Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm with every other weekend

Occasional Availability to work 7am-3:30pm

Contract to Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check-in patients upon arrival at the Emergency Department

• Verify visit purpose, collect personal and insurance information

• Ensure accurate data entry into IDX and Invision systems

• Handle insurance eligibility, co-pay collection, and clearance processing

• Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Maintain professionalism and composure in a crowded waiting room

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Degree Required

• Strong customer service and patient experience

• 1 + years experience with healthcare, understanding terminology and insurance verification

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
