Dandy is looking for a motivated and experienced Service Operations Manager to join our corporate team! In this role, you’ll oversee a skilled team of technicians who maintain and service fuel islands, HVAC systems, refrigeration, store equipment, and residential properties. You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, reliable, and high-quality service while supporting our mission to deliver the best customer experience possible.

What You’ll Do:

+ Lead, train, and support a team of service technicians and administrative staff.

+ Schedule and dispatch service calls efficiently to meet business needs.

+ Oversee daily operations, monitor job progress, and ensure quality standards are met.

+ Maintain strong company relationships and resolve service-related issues quickly.

+ Manage tools, vehicles, inventory, and equipment for service operations.

+ Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies.

+ Develop preventive maintenance schedules for fuel islands, HVAC, refrigeration, and other equipment.

+ Review and approve service reports, invoices, and work orders.

+ Recruit, hire, and retain top talent for the service department.

+ Track KPIs, prepare performance reports, and manage departmental budgets.

+ Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

+ Lead emergency response efforts for critical equipment failures.

+ Recommend and implement process improvements and new technologies.

Education and Training:

+ Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, Business Management, or related discipline preferred.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and service management software.

+ Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Experience Requirements:

+ At least 5 years of technical service experience.

+ Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

+ Certifications or licenses in HVAC, petroleum equipment, refrigeration, or related fields preferred.

+ Experience with residential and commercial systems, including HVAC, fueling equipment, and retail store technologies.

Special Requirements:

+ Valid and clean driver’s license.

+ Must maintain professional appearance and conduct.

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions under pressure.

+ May be required to work holidays, weekends, or overtime as needed.

Physical Demands:

+ Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.

+ Extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking.

+ Travel required daily to various locations.
