    The College of Arts & Sciences at Syracuse University is seeking a Part-time Instructor to teach Development of Speech and Language (CSD 422) (3 credits) to be taught in the Fall 2025 semester.

    Course Description:

    Theories and research on children’s acquisition of communication, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, morphology, and phonology. Relationships between oral and written language skills in comprehension and production processing; individual differences; cognitive, social, biological, familial, and cultural influences. Double Numbered with CSD 622. Additional work required of graduate students.

     

    This course is already in progress. The successful candidate will step in and take over the class upon hire for the remainder of the semester.

     

    The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined based on their per‐credit‐rate‐history within the hiring department. All course offerings are subject to funding availability and enrollment.
