About the role
As an Infrastructure Architect, you’ll make an impact by designing and implementing resilient infrastructure systems that support business growth, improve service delivery, and drive innovation. You’ll work across teams to integrate emerging technologies and ensure our IT environment is secure, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals. You will be a valued member of our Cloud Infrastructure and Security team and work collaboratively with the Senior Manager.
In this role, you will:
• Design and deliver infrastructure solutions that enhance performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Integrate AI-enabled chatbots into existing systems to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Lead change lifecycle management processes to ensure smooth transitions and minimal service disruptions.
• Manage and optimize networking infrastructure for high availability and security.
• Drive incident response efforts, resolving issues quickly to maintain service continuity.
• Collaborate with the Service Desk to streamline support workflows and improve user satisfaction.
• Use ServiceNow to automate tasks and enhance service management capabilities.
• Maintain and enhance Windows environments to support business operations.
• Contribute to IT strategy development, aligning technology initiatives with business goals.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and implement continuous improvements.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of learning and growth.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Work model:

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Fort Mill, SC.

What you need to have to be considered
• A proven track record of 10 or more years in infrastructure architecture
• Hands-on experience in change lifecycle management, AI-enabled chatbots, networking, incident management, service desk operations, ServiceNow, and Windows environments.
• A problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering practical, scalable solutions.
• Clear and effective communication skills that support collaboration across teams.
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment and adapting to evolving technologies.
These will help you stand out
• Experience in Asset & Wealth Management is a plus.
• A growth-oriented approach, with curiosity and openness to innovation and continuous learning.
