Job Summary
The Domain Analyst II will support the Convergence of Data and Power domain by performing in depth analysis of technologies, market and technological trends in key areas of focus (subdomains): hybrid cables, asset monitoring, communications, Internet of things, bi-directional flow of data and power, data analytics, AI/ML for Grid Applications, Digital Twins, Cybersecurity.
The Domain Analyst - Convergence of Data and Power will ensure alignment with the domain’s strategic plan and will assist in building a technology roadmap and business cases for the opportunitties been evaluated.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct comprehensive research to dissect market, industry, and technological data.
2. Ascertain and authenticate emerging technological trends in the domain of Convergence of Data and Power
3. Assess technical characteristics and business case studies of pivotal technologies to ensure congruence with strategic objectives, guaranteeing the alignment of technology roadmaps with research findings.
4. Recognize key corporations, educational institutions, national laboratories and research centers for potential partnerships.
5. Generate exhaustive documentation encompassing all research, technology evaluation, market studies, technology roadmaps and engagement initiatives.
6. Foster efficient cross-functional collaboration.
7. Collaborate with both external and internal partners and institutions.
8. Define, strategize, and implement domain-specific workshops.
9. Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex data, trends, and patterns.
10. Proficiency in data analytic tools and techniques is essential.
Required Education & Experience
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's
Years of Experience: 3Field of Expertise: Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial engineering, Business, computer science. Understanding of the electrical industry, particularly in the context convergence of data and power (at least one of the subdomains listed) and future trends.
Preferred Education & Experience
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's
Years of Experience: 5Preferred Field of Expertise: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, , Information Technology, or a related discipline. Master's degree, in Business, Business Analytics, or similar a plus. Understanding of the electrical industry, particularly in the context convergence of data and power (two or more one of the subdomains listed) and future trends. Knowledge of emerging disruptive technologies is essential.
