The Surgical Technician/Tissue Processing Technician isresponsible for the sterilization of surgical equipment, arrange surgicalequipment and adjust medical tools to ensure that the surgical devices arefunctioning properly.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Surgical Technologist certification as applicable per stateand/or client requirement

+ One year experience as a Surgical Technician preferred(Tissue Processing Technologist – only)

+ Degree in biology related field which includes a degree /certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

Start Date: October 6, 2025

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Shifts Available:

Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (06:30 AM – 03:00 PM)

Mid Shift: 5x8-Hour (02:30 PM – 11:00 PM)

Block scheduling not available.

Requirements:

+ NBSTA Certification

+ CST Certification

+ Current BLS Certification

+ Minimum 1.5 years of experience

+ On-call availability: ~4–5 days/month (including weekends)

+ Willingness to float to HOPD/ASC (same campus)

+ Orientation: 16 hours

+ Float Required: Yes

+ Occasional float to HOPD/ASC on the same campus

+ Call Required: Yes

+ Approximately 4–5 days/month, including weekends

+ Weekend Coverage: On-call only

+ 2–3 weekend on-call shifts per contract

+ Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

+ Daily Census: 50–60 procedures
