    The salary range for this position is $96,000 to $118,500 anually based on background and experience.

    Here's how a(n) Marketing Manager for our Seattle office contributes to our team:

    Responsibilities

    + Creates and manages strategic marketing, communications, and proposal plans and ensures they are measurable.

    + Responsible for the annual overall district integrated marketing and communications plan.

    + Provides exceptional editing and proofreading services. Reviews content for sensitivities.

    + Coaches and leads a team of collaborative marketing, communications, and proposal professionals who develop and execute the district marketing strategy.

    + Oversees district marketing and website content-management strategy, and researches and recommends emerging and innovative marketing solutions to meet district needs.

    + Oversees and approves a social media strategy to support district objectives and potential risk mitigation. Provides direction for solutions where PCL's reputation is at risk.

    + Evaluates, selects, and manages external vendors and partners and related budgets when required.

    Qualifications

    + AEC Industry Experience: Background in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry (construction preferred), with an understanding of industry terminology, client expectations, and pursuit processes.

    + Proposal Expertise: Demonstrated success managing and producing high-volume, deadline-driven proposals, with the ability to craft compelling, client-focused narratives.

    + Education: Postsecondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, journalism, or equivalent field.

    + Progressive Leadership: 8–10 years of marketing experience, including time spent mentoring or managing teams; proven ability to inspire, coach, and develop team members.

    + Strategic Leadership: Experience guiding pursuit strategies, influencing go/no-go decisions, and helping to shape district marketing and communications strategies that align with broader company goals.

    + Collaboration & Partnership: Skilled at working directly with technical operations teams and senior leadership to position the company, strengthen client relationships, and identify new opportunities.

    + Adaptability: Ability to prioritize competing needs, manage multiple deadlines, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

    + Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud, with the ability to learn and adapt to new marketing and proposal tools.

    + Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive-level messaging, coaching presentation teams, and ensuring brand consistency.

    + Growth & Representation: Experience elevating a company’s profile through award submissions, professional associations, client outreach, and community engagement.
