    The Ultrasound Technician performs a variety of specializedtechnical tasks utilizing high frequency ultrasound waves to assist with thedetection of medical conditions or abnormalities by producing images of theinside of a patient’s body.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + A certification from an accredited ultrasound school

    + One year of experience as an ultrasound technicianpreferred.

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    Shift:

    Monday-Friday (8:30 to 5) -- Must be available to work an occasional Saturday

    Requirements:

    + ARDMS - Required

    + OB cert - Highly preferred

    + OB experience - Required

    + Abdomen experience - Required

    + Nuchal translucency experience - Preferred
