    About the Job

     

    The IT Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of IT projects, managing change initiatives, and aligning IT demand with business priorities.

    Required Qualifications

    + Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.

    + Experience: 5+ years’ experience in project management is required. Manufacturing industry a plus. Experience translating high level vision into actionable plans and measurable outcomes required.

    + Certifications: Certification in Project Management preferred. Valid Driver’s License required.

    + Knowledge: Strong command of Project, Change and Demand management methodologies and principals required.

    + Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Skill in aligning multiple projects with business goals. Experience in budgeting and resource management, efficiently allocating time, people and financial resources. Standing up a PMO is a plus.

    + Abilities: Effectively communicate with all functional groups and through all levels of MLC. Utilize project management and other engineering tools to optimize project execution. Respond decisively to emergencies, as well as exercise sound judgment in problem solving. Adaptability to adjust plans in a dynamic environment.

    Essential Functions

    + Manage extensive IT Projects

    + Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects

    + Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.

    + Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery within budget.

    + Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors

    + Develop and Implement a Standard Change Management Process

    + Develop and implement change management strategies to support IT initiatives.

    + Ensure effective communication, training, and stakeholder engagement during change processes.

    + Assess change impact and readiness across the organization.

    + Track and report on change adoption and outcomes.

    + Manage IT Demand Pipeline

    + Collaborate with business units to capture and assess IT demand.

    + Prioritize requests based on strategic alignment, value, and resource availability.

    + Maintain a demand pipeline and ensure transparency in decision-making.

    + Facilitate demand planning and forecasting activities.

    + Establish and Maintain Governance Frameworks

    + Establish and maintain governance frameworks for project and change management.

    + Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project status, risks, and performance metrics.

    + Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

    + Maintain compliance with all State and Federal Environmental Laws and Regulations in design or installation of new systems.
