    ***3D ARTIST***

    SUMMARY:

    The Associate Digital Artist supports the team to quickly and efficiently produce visualization content based on engineering and design data to support customer requirements with oversight. Create and develop content using a multitude of digital mediums for the best balance of quality and performance. This role will visualize new, modified, or improved vehicles and showcase those concepts with photorealistic renderings, animations, and interactive models.

    YOUR IMPACT:

    + Create static renderings and animated visualizations of new or existing designs to support engineering design reviews, internal and external marketing, and bid proposals with an emphasis on schedule, quality and creativity that will meet or exceed customer expectations.

    + Use state of the art editing, effects, and post processing to composite images & renders.

    + Import and maintain models that will be used for CG visualization and support model modifications as required.

    + Support and maintain libraries containing models, materials, studios, etc.

    + Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers.

    + Support intranet site with relevant and current projects to showcase Oshkosh capability.

    + Perform job duties in an ethical, professional manner which is consistent with the Oshkosh Way. Conduct duties consistent with the Company’s mission statement, quality objectives, and defined policies and procedures.

    + Promote a people first culture by integrating into and contributing to a cohesive team with creativity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Bachelors degree in Digital Art, Graphic Design, Game Design, Animation or related field.

    STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Six (6) or more months of related work experience.

    + Experience in Maya, V-ray, Keyshot, or similar applications.

    + Experience at Microsoft office.

    + Proficient at post processing software (Adobe Photoshop, After Effects).

    + Experience with low poly modeling, UV mapping, and texture baking.

    + Experience with Realtime 3D engines (Unity, Unreal).

    + Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar software.

    + Knowledge of multiple 3D tools.

    + Knowledge of graphic design.

    + Knowledge of importing and exporting large CAD data sets.

    ***2D ARTIST***

    JOB SUMMARY:

    The primary role of the Digital Artist Associate – 2D is to work within the team to conceptualize new graphic concepts, create digital assets and bring them to completion. As an integral part of a corporate Advanced Concepts Team, the Digital Artist Associate – 2D collaborates with engineering and marketing on graphic creation to maintain the layout styling and branding intent for the best customer value. This role must be able to design within web, print and presentation conventions. The Digital Artist Associate – 2D must possess a mix of both creative and technical skills and be able to work quickly while remaining extremely detail oriented.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

     

    + Collaborate closely with internal cross functional team members and agencies on graphic materials.

    + Work within our industrial design team to coordinate UI elements and icons.

    + Design logos to be used corporate wide.

    + Assist in the creation of 2D assets to be used in projects ranging from corporate presentations to video to 3d rendering.

    + Develop story boards with cross functional teams.

    + Maintain libraries containing corporate logos, icons, and UI elements.

    + Support intranet and internet site content for Marketing with relevant and current projects.

    + Perform job duties in an ethical, professional manner which is consistent with the Oshkosh Way. Conduct duties consistent with the Company’s mission statement, quality objectives, and defined policies and procedures.

    + Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers.

    + Develop various graphic types such as isometric, infographics and posters.

    + Self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively.

    + Keep abreast of current trends in digital art software products and deploy for other team members to use.

    + Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, risks, and progress.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Digital Art, Graphic Design, Game Design, Animation, or equivalent.

    + 1- 3 years’ work experience.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Experience with Adobe Creative Suite especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and AE

    + HTML 5 experience.

    + Strong visual skills and understanding of key design principles

    + Strong attention to detail

    + Experience in typography, photography and production design.

    + Proficient at PowerPoint

    + Ability to work in After Effects

    + Knowledge of digital UI design

    + Experience in marketing and communications

    + Advertising design strategy

    + Experience with web design

    Pay Range:

    $50,400.00 - $77,200.00

     

    The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
