    Primary Purpose of Position:

    A Maintenance Trainee role is an entry-level position designed for individuals eager to start a career in maintenance operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in routine inspections and maintenance of equipment and facilities.

    • Learn and apply safety procedures and maintenance techniques.

    • Support troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical systems.

    • Help maintain logs and records of maintenance activities.

    • Participate in training programs and on-the-job learning opportunities.

    • Perform preventive maintenance tasks as directed.

    • Collaborate with senior maintenance staff on various projects.

    • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership to support the overall needs of the team and company.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

    • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

    • Willingness to learn and expand maintenance skills.

    • Strong work ethic and reliability.

    • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

    • Good communication skills.

    • Ability to follow directions and work in a team.

    Physical Requirements & Work Environment** **:

    • Standing and walking approximately 90 (ninety) percent of work time.

    • Ability to work overtime or occasionally on weekends with short notice.

    • Willingness to work all/any shifts.

    • Typical plant/manufacturing environment with concrete floors and moving equipment.

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

     

    This role offers hands-on experience and training to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to advance in a maintenance career.
