The entry-level Production Worker role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and learning. Under supervision, this role involves working in various small cable areas. The production worker ensures production standards are met, work is completed efficiently and safely, and provides a platform to expand your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn to read detailed production instructions, processes, and procedures, including interpreting and translating engineering designs and documentation.

• Inspects equipment before use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic routine adjustments and maintenance under supervision.

• Operates production equipment under supervision, following prints and specifications. Assigned tasks may require various hand tools, including grinders, polishers, and similar equipment.

• Under supervision, measuring finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.

• Report any issues with equipment or materials to the supervisor.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Learn how to abide by OSHA and environmental regulations.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Basic math skills along with mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and follow verbal and written directions.

• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Experience

• No prior up to three years of experience; on-the-job training is provided.

Work Environment

• Walking or standing on the Plant floor.

• Frequently required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to lift/or move up to 45 pounds without help.
