Position Overview ** **
Chevron is seeking a highly skilled Communications professional to serve as a **Leadership Enablement Communications Advisor** . Working cross-functionally within Corporate Affairs and across business units, this role will coordinate the planning and execution of key internal leadership communications efforts to advance the Company’s business priorities, drive change, inspire the workforce, and strengthen culture.
This role is responsible for developing and executing a cohesive internal communications strategy for senior leaders, ensuring content is high-quality, audience-appropriate, and aligned with company priorities. The ideal candidate will have strong writing/editing skills, strategic thinking capabilities, and experience managing global communications programs.
Key Responsibilities ** **
+ Communications Planning: Develop and implement integrated leadership communications plans to raise the visibility and workforce understanding of enterprise strategies and priorities, business plan targets, and accomplishments.
+ Enterprise-wide Coordination: Support global coordination of leadership communications across technical, commercial, and business areas.
+ Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize leadership messaging opportunities.
+ Content Creation: Produce communication materials for senior leaders and supervisors to align and inspire their workforce, including talking points, emails, letters, toolkits, videos, and presentations.
+ Key Messages: Align leadership messaging with enterprise initiatives and corporate standards.
+ Leader Capability: Provide leaders and advisors with tools, training, and best practices for effective message delivery.
+ Measurement: Measure and analyze communication impact to inform future strategies.
Qualifications and Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
+ 7+ years of experience in internal communications, preferably in a large, multi-national organization.
+ Proven ability to develop strategic communications aligned with business goals.
+ Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills; adept at producing executive-level content.
+ Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
+ Demonstrated ability to be proactive and work independently and with teams in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
+ Collaborative and proactive mindset with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
