You will be a Systems Design Engineering & Technology Manager \(ETM\) at Lockheed Martin Missile and Fire Control Business Area, based in Orlando, Florida\. Our team is responsible for supporting Systems Design and Requirements Engineers working on advanced program efforts, and you will play a key role in managing and developing a team of engineers to drive technical excellence, affordability, and program execution\.
What You Will Be Doing
As an ETM, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of engineers, supporting department initiatives and directorate undertakings, and driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution\. You will provide technical coaching and mentoring, assign work, develop employee career plans, and provide continuous feedback to your team members\. You will also coordinate employee recruitment, selection, and training, and support program development, execution of program requirements, and adherence to engineering development processes\.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing technical coaching and mentoring to team members
• Assigning work and developing employee career plans
• Providing continuous feedback and performance assessments
• Coordinating employee recruitment, selection, and training
• Supporting program development and execution of program requirements
• Adhering to engineering development processes and promoting customer focus
• Serving as the technical conscience for your program
• Managing complex technical systems and programs
• Developing and managing proposals
• Working with requirements development and management tools such as DOORs and/or CAMEO

MUST BE A U\.S\. CITIZEN \- This position is located at a facility that requires special access\. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance\. An Interim Secret Clearance is required to start\.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience
• Engineering Management or Engineering Team Lead experience including task planning, budget management, and/or employee development and mentoring
• Interim Secret Clearance is required to start\.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with requirements development and management using DOORs and/or CAMEO
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical systems/programs
• Ability to collaborate with multi\-functional teams
• Strong business acumen, management influence and whole systems thinking
• Strong Interpersonal Skills
• Proposal Development Experience; Basis of Estimate \(BOE\) Development
• Control Account Manager \(CAM\) experience;
• Earned Value Management Experience\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
