Our client, a leading organization in the technology and enterprise solutions sector, is seeking a Virtual Platform Solutions Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Virtual Platform Solutions Engineer, you will be part of the Infrastructure Support Department supporting virtualization and end-user computing environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:** **Virtual Platform Solutions Engineer (Only W2)

Pay Range: $65 - $70/hr (Only W2)

What's the Job?

+ Automate administrative tasks and workflows using PowerShell, REST, and SOAP APIs for Horizon environments

+ Test and verify that infrastructure updates do not disrupt existing automations

+ Document current and new product releases to ensure clarity and consistency

+ Act as an operations liaison and SME, integrating with Horizon and Citrix platforms

+ Collaborate with engineering teams to share knowledge and improve system performance

What's Needed?

+ Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training

+ **8+ years of experience in virtualization and EUC environments, preferably with VMware/Omnissa Horizon**

+ **5+ years of systems engineering experience in large enterprise settings**

+ **Proficiency with scripting languages, especially PowerShell and PowerCLI**

+ **Experience with application delivery using AppVolumes, DEM, Citrix policies, and UAG deployment**
