The Manager – Recruiting is responsible for leading and overseeing the day-to-day operations of a high-performing driver recruiting team. This role ensures the team consistently meets or exceeds hiring goals by developing effective strategies, monitoring key performance indicators, and providing ongoing coaching and development. The Manager plays a critical role in aligning recruiting efforts with organizational goals while driving efficiency, compliance, and a positive candidate experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

+ Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment.

+ Lead, coach, and develop a team of driver recruiters to achieve monthly hiring goals.

+ Monitor recruiter performance and key metrics.

+ Train and develop team members, providing regular feedback and growth opportunities.

+ Facilitate team meetings and conduct regular 1:1 coaching sessions.

+ Possess a general understanding of Dispatch and Human Resources

+ Serve as a knowledgeable and credible representative of Hirschbach and its family of companies.

+ Represent the organization professionally at trade shows, job fairs, open houses, industry events, and meetings.

+ Prepare detailed recruitment reports; analyze trends, sourcing effectiveness, and areas for improvement.

+ Maintain flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.

+ Collaborate with internal departments to ensure recruiting efforts align with business needs.

+ Ensure full compliance with DOT regulations and internal hiring policies.

+ Identify and implement process improvements and best practices across the recruiting lifecycle.

+ Resolve escalated candidate or recruiter issues efficiently and professionally.

+ Use data and analytics to drive informed decision-making.

+ Serve as a culture champion, modeling the company’s values and promoting a positive team environment.
