    Our client, a leading organization in the mortgage and real estate industry, is seeking a Loan Modification Specialist to join their team. As a Loan Modification Specialist, you will be part of the Mortgage Support Department supporting the Loan Processing and Servicing Teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Loan Modification Specialist

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Prepare and execute mortgage loan modifications, partial claims, and deferments in compliance with investor, agency, and state-specific guidelines.

    + Collaborate with legal counsel, title companies, and internal departments to ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.

    + Manage reporting related to delinquency, loss mitigation, and loan pipeline tracking to various investors and mortgage insurance companies.

    + Review real estate documents such as deeds of trust, mortgages, notes, and title reports to support loan modifications.

    + Monitor payment processing, title recording, and escrow calculations to ensure smooth loan administration and retention efforts.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + 6 months to 1 year of experience in residential real estate lending, loan processing, or related fields.

    + Knowledge of loan modification processes and loss mitigation programs is preferred.

    + Understanding of real estate legal documents and title vesting procedures.

    + Ability to coordinate with legal counsel, title companies, and investor departments effectively.

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure compliance and accuracy.
