+ Pay & FSLA Status: $25-$28 + KPI bonus incentives, D.O.E.; Hourly non-exempt
+ Regular Schedule & Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
+ Regular Weekly Hours: Full-time/40 hours per week (overtime as needed)
+ Paid Time Off (PTO): 80 hours accrued year 1; 120 hours accrued annually after year 1

The Pre-Finish Lead plays a critical role within our Operations team as an individual who is cross-trained in all pre-finish shop functions and responsibilities. This position acts as a mentor to fellow team members and provides training and coaching to achieve organizational goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Knowledgeable in all function of the pre-finish shop. Cross-trained in all skill sets with the ability to backfill positions as needed to achieve organizational and operational goals.
+ Responsible for assisting in onboarding new employees. Will help with training and mentoring employees to further develop and build an established and experienced pre-finish team.
+ Keep the pre-finish shop clean and organized.
+ Follow and comply with OrePac’s policies and procedures and applicable state and federal laws.
+ Responsible for prepping and preparing products, including doors, trims, and jambs, for spraying, ensuring standard work is followed to achieve quality and attention to detail expectations.
+ Package all finished products following standard packaging procedures to provide optimal product protection during transportation and handling.
+ Review pre-finish schedule and workorders to communicate to team productivity expectations and goals for the workday. Be proactive to resolve any obstacles in schedule with the goal to achieve 100% schedule completion.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Demonstrated success in coaching or mentoring fellow employees or teammates to achieve developmental growth.
+ Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations.
+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
+ Strong attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to supervise the quality and details of one's and others’ work and provide feedback as necessary.
+ Must know how to use small hand tools and power equipment.
+ Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
+ Ability to perform all job functions safely.
+ Must be able to solve minor problems within department utilizing the tools and resources available and escalating the matter to a supervisor or manager when appropriate.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
+ High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
+ At least 1 year of experience using door cut-out machines, mills, saws, joiners, nail guns, and other carpentry tools (preferred).
+ Any combination of education, training, or experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position will be accepted in place of the education and/or experience requirements listed for this role.

+ Regularly lift/move/manipulate up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
+ Regularly required to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
+ Regularly steer, reach, and handle dunnage if forklift operation duties are assigned to the position.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
+ The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate/loud.
+ The employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
+ The employee routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.
+ The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions.

+ All employees are expected to wear clothing appropriate for the nature of OrePac business and the type of work being performed. Clothing should be tasteful.
