• Material Handler - 1st Shift

    Adecco is currently hiring immediately for a Material Handler (Pallet Jack) opportunity in Auburn Hills, MI!

     

    This is a fantastic full-time, contract-to-hire position with excellent growth potential in a clean, team-oriented manufacturing environment. Overtime and Double Time may be available based on business needs and manager approval. This role will typically be a 40-hour work week.

    Pay Rate:

    + Starting at **$17.00 per hour**

    Shifts Available:

    + 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

     

    We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual with **previous Material Handling experience using a pallet jack.** The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, safety-focused, and capable of handling material flow in a fast-paced production environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform material handling operations in Receiving and Stockroom.

    + Unload materials from delivery trucks, remove packaging, and verify parts against packing slips.

    + Stock materials, maintain FIFO part bin management, and return/count materials from the floor.

    + Verify SAP transactions and physical locations for accuracy.

    + Replenish production lines with parts and materials using pallet jacks.

    + Participate in team activities and continuous improvement projects.

    + Work safely and comply with all Environmental Health and Safety standards.

    Requirements

    + MUST HAVE **material handling and pallet jack experience** in a manufacturing/shipping/receiving environment (must be listed on resume).

    + Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills.

    + Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

    + Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.

    + Ability to use pallet jacks, box cutters, and scanners.

    + Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification (no forklift work required for this role).

    + Safety glasses and steel-toed shoes required in work areas.

    **Pay Details:** $17.00 per hour
